Mohammd Al-Khalifa

Mohammed Al-Khalifa is a bilingual HR and recruitment professional with more than 18 years of experience in the financial services sector.

Before founding Stanhope Search in 2017, Mohammed served as the Head of Human Resources at Casewise, a VC-backed software company. In this role, he was instrumental in setting up the global HR function, growing the company’s headcount from 70 to 150, and driving profitability through creating and executing innovative and effective talent management strategies. Mohammed’s efforts were pivotal in facilitating the successful sale of Casewise to Erwin in 2017.

Previously, Mohammed progressed from HR Trainee to HR Business Partner at Ahli United Bank in London, where he played a key role in transforming the recruitment process for the Private Banking team and reducing recruitment costs by insourcing much of the bank’s talent acquisition.

Mohammed started his career as a banker on Merrill Lynch’s prestigious Analyst Program.

His expertise spans global talent acquisition, executive search, HR strategy, and employee development, making him a highly respected figure in the financial services recruitment landscape.

Tim is an executive search and careers consultant with more than 25 years’ experience in the recruitment industry, where he has advised some of the most prominent banking and financial services firms in the world on their talent acquisition strategies. Tim’s knowledge extends across the sector including corporate and investment banking, wealth and asset management, private equity, alternative investments, sovereign wealth funds and insurers. He has lived and worked in the London, Paris, Lisbon, Dubai and Hong Kong and has successfully concluded projects across developed, emerging and frontier markets.

More recently, Tim founded Mercury Coaching, a specialist career coaching and advisory business, supporting professionals seeking a new challenge in their working lives, where he consults with clients across a range of different sectors and at all stages of their career development.
